Kairos: is the qualitative time of life. The Greeks considered it the most appropriate for something new. "The concept has its origins in the practice of Greek archery, representing the moment when the archer finds the perfect opening to shoot his/her arrow and hit the target.
Chronos: refers to minutes and seconds. It refers to time as a measurable resource.
Kairos or Chronos?
Kairos (used 86 times in the New Testament) refers to an opportune time, a "moment" or a "season" such as "harvest time", whereas chronos (used 54 times) refers to a specific amount of time, such as a day or an hour (e.g. Acts 13:18 and 27:9).
